References in this Terms & Conditions Statement to "we", "us" and "Vevian" are to Vevian (trading as Vevian).
When you place an order online with us you do so in the confidence that the terms and conditions outlined apply, and that you accept these terms and conditions. The terms do not affect your statutory rights.
ORDERING AND ACCEPTANCE
An email confirmation will be sent to you upon our acceptance of your order, which constitutes a contract between the payer and payee in accordance with the outlined terms and conditions. We reserve the right to refuse an order in whole or in part.
PRICES, PARTICULARS AND PAYMENT
We have made every effort to ensure that the information provided on our website is accurate and correct at the time of publishing. This includes the details, descriptions and prices of the displayed products. However, if an error is found in the price or description of a product you have ordered, we may cancel your order and contact you to ask whether you wish to continue with your order at the correct price or cancel it. The prices quoted are inclusive of VAT at the standard rate and are exclusive of delivery.
Sage Pay and PayPal are used to process payments, and all major credit and debit cards are accepted. Alternatively you can pay by Cheque or Direct Deposit; please email us for details at firstname.lastname@example.org. All transactions will be charged in GBP Pounds Sterling. Please contact your card issuer for details of any exchange fees you may incur to convert currencies.

*Deliveries outside the EU may be subject to local import duties and taxes and may be delayed. The customer incurs the costs.
If you receive an item that has been damaged during delivery, please report this within 2 days of receipt by emailing email@example.com. Deliveries should be checked upon arrival and any damages to packaging should be reported to the delivery driver.
Bespoke products have a longer delivery timeframe. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Products shown on the Available Now page are in stock and ready for dispatch the next day. If you would like to use our personalised service and have the wooden shoebox engraved with a message, this will default to the standard delivery timeframe.
EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS
We hope you are happy with your purchase but if you require an exchange or refund of an item (applies to non-sale items only) please email email@example.com within 7 days. We require you to send the product back in its original packaging, unworn and in a saleable condition. Shoeboxes need to be protected as they are considered part of the product, and your return may not be accepted if the box is damaged. Customers outside the UK will not be offered an exchange or refund, unless the item is faulty.
Please obtain a free proof-of-postage from your local post office as a precautionary measure in the event that your parcel is lost or damaged. Vevian does not take responsibility for lost or damaged items during transit. Please allow 14 days for us to process your return. We regret that postage costs are non-refundable.
Exchanges are processed immediately and you should receive your replacement within an estimated 12 business days. We will not charge postage and handling fees on exchanges.
Claims for lost outgoing parcels cannot be made until enough time has passed to allow for delays in the post, generally 14 working days.
Personalised and bespoke orders cannot be returned or exchanged.
By purchasing and/or redeeming a gift voucher you will be deemed to have read and understood these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that the delivery address entered is correct. We cannot be responsible for the incorrect delivery of gift vouchers due to an error by a customer (such as a mis-typed address). The gift voucher will be dispatched by registered mail as soon as payment for the gift voucher has been cleared.
Gift Vouchers are only available for purchase in GBP Pounds Sterling. The maximum value of gift vouchers that can be purchased in any one order is £500. When redeeming Gift Vouchers the unique gift voucher code stated on the gift voucher will need to be entered at the checkout. If the goods purchased total less than the value of the gift voucher, any gift voucher balance will be sent to you as a new gift voucher. If the goods purchased exceed the amount of the gift voucher, the balance must be paid by credit or debit card when the gift voucher is redeemed.
Our standard terms and conditions shall apply regarding the purchase of goods made using a gift voucher. Gift vouchers can be redeemed only on vevian.co.uk towards the purchase of items currently featured on our site. Gift vouchers cannot be used to purchase other gift vouchers. One or more gift vouchers can be redeemed against a single order.
We shall not be responsible if a gift voucher is lost, stolen, damaged, impaired, corrupted, destroyed, deleted or used without permission. Gift vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash.
Gift vouchers must be redeemed within one year of the date of dispatch by us and will expire after such date. These gift vouchers are provided and operated by Vevian, 59 Elgin Avenue, Maida Vale, London W9 3NH, United Kingdom.
In accordance to the Distance Selling and Online Trading Regulations, Vevian’s personalised products, which have been made to the customers’ specifications, are exempt from standard cancellation rights. By the very individual nature of personalised products hand-made to order, they cannot be re-sold and therefore we cannot accept returns if you have a change of mind.
DISCOUNTS AND OFFERS
Discounts and offers are not valid on sale items.
All product colours have been displayed as accurately as possible on the website, however browser software and monitor displays may cause colour variations and we cannot be responsible for any discrepancies between the image and the actual product.
As all our products are handmade, no two products will be identical. Leather is a natural material and therefore may bear the marks of its natural origin.
We are unable to confirm that all the information set out on this website is accurate or complete, or that use of the site is free of viruses or other damage.
Liability for any claim shall not exceed the price of the goods supplied. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Our products are not toys and are not intended for use in play.
