I am Vevian, a shoe designer. I have always believed that the right shoes not only complement and add that finishing touch to an outfit, they also create a wonderful expression of the wearer's personality and individuality. It was my passion for footwear that led me to study and pursue shoe design.
When I became a mother I began, inevitably, to look out for stylish yet comfortable shoes which my daughter could wear on special occasions. I am aware that babies and small children do not need to wear shoes every day, however, I am also aware that there are occasions when the perfect pair of shoes is essential.
For my daughter's first birthday party I decided to use the skills I had developed as a designer to make a shoe worthy of the occasion. I then kept the shoes for my daughter as a memento of the very special day. The shoes attracted a lot of attention from friends and family who wanted that for their children, and so the idea of shoes designed to be treasured forever was born.
We at Vevian endeavor to create a perfect pair of shoes for those special occasions. Each pair of shoes is designed and handcrafted in London from high quality, soft and supple leather that is gentle on those precious little feet.
We source our materials from local suppliers, make our shoes locally, and recycle material where ever possible – because we love the earth.
